One and Done Support
EMC recently deployed a new electrician team that provides labor partners with support during installations. With each electrician visiting five sites a week, they provide onsite quality inspections to help ensure successful project completion that meets and even exceeds industry standards. With their industry experience and technical expertise they also back up your project manager as a second resource for questions and support.
The team includes:
Allen Dehmer carries electrical licenses in several states. Prior to joining EMC in August 2018, he owned and operated his own electrical company in Minnesota for 28 years, where he focused on new and remodeled commercial buildings as well as residential and service.
Gary Giesen brings 45+ years in the electrical trade. He has taught sign and neon and served as an OSHA 10/30 Instructor. Gary is also a retired CPR/AED Instructor and EMT. He generally supports East Coast projects taking place anywhere from Maine to Florida.
Neil Giesen was born and raised in New Prague Minnesota, but now lives near Denver, Colorado and travels across the country for EMC projects. In addition to quality audits Neil assists new labor partners or ones entering new technologies including sub-metering.
Look to Allen, Gary and Neil as your go-to people for efficiency support and resources for tips and tricks from the greater Labor Partner Network.
Time Studies
As part of EMC’s efforts to provide accurate project pricing our electrician team will also be conducting time studies when visiting project sites.
They will observe the time it takes to perform various tasks and this data will be compiled and normalized within EMC’s business process and used to provide accurate bidding as well as process support that will be particularly useful to new Labor Partners.
EMC Wants to Hear From You!
Responding to bids is a crucial way for EMC to manage project pricing for the more than 6,000 projects we do a year. Your response helps us better understand what types of projects to partner with you on and set competitive rates.
