EMC Labor Summits—Elevating Collaboration

EMC’s Labor Partner Summit was retooled in 2021 to tighten the focus of conversation and strengthen partner development. The bi-annual event has created an opportunity to engage two groups of partners in deeper discussions about the work we are doing together. 

Our goals are to celebrate the partnership we have with each attending partner and drive discussion around key topics which, can then elevate our collective performance within the work we do. 

The small group discussions help promote engagement and a healthy level of discussion, challenges and idea generation within each topic. We have been fortunate to have strong participation from many who join us for these conversations, and several actions have come from the feedback received. 

Some examples of actions taken from Summit conversations are: 

  1. Adding controls training to help partners increase readiness for the controls market with EMC

  1. Reviewing onboarding and project kick-off materials and processes to improve readiness for projects 

  1. Identifying additional collaboration opportunities 

  1. Expanding awareness and understanding of market activity and better ways for us to successfully deliver in each

Whether it’s improving how we deliver retail lighting and controls solutions or addressing the more unique needs of commercial or healthcare facilities, growing our business requires ongoing collaboration to do our best work and realize the greatest value possible for our customers and ourselves.  

While the Summit has been an important part of the development of new solutions and more effective ways to work together, it is not the only way to engage with key EMC team members to discuss challenges, ideas and opportunities for shared growth and development.
