Labor Partner Escalation Processes

There are times when EMC personnel may be challenged to respond in a timely manner to a matter of importance to our labor partner network members. If you find that you are in need of a response to a question or you would like to address your concern with another member of the EMC team, the following escalation paths should be used. Emails and phone numbers for each team member noted can be found at the bottom of this section.
Project / Site Related Items – These are issues or questions that are related to active projects or site related issues
Step 1 – Project Manager (PM)
Step 2 – Manager of Project Managers (MPM) – Russ McNamara, Jason Fjestad, Chris Charboneau (MPM ownership will vary by project)
Step 3 – VP of Operations – Derek Johnson
Project Pricing Issues – These are issues or questions related to the original RFQ response vs onsite findings during installation
Step 1 – Buyer and PM (to discuss possible issues with pricing and the project scope)
Step 2 – Buyer Manager – Nate de la O-Peterson (if resolution is not possible via steps 1)
Step 3 – Director, Labor Partner Development – John Loheit (if resolution is not possible via steps 1-2)
Invoice Processing – These are related to delays and / or terms questions
Step 1 – Accounts Payable inbox (email to this inbox begins review process in finance)
Step 2 – AP Manager – Karla Erickson (if feedback from AP team is not received within two days of submission)
Step 3 - Director, Labor Partner Development – John Loheit (if resolution is not possible via steps 1-2)
Project Quantity Changes
Step 1 – PM (to understand why line quantities were changed)
Step 2 – MPM – Russ McNamara, Jason Fjestad, Chris Charboneau (MPM ownership will vary by project)

John Loheit is EMC's Director of Labor Partner Development. In this role he oversees the Labor Partner Network and Field Quality Assurance. He has been in the lighting industry for 16 years, and holds a bachelor’s degree from Augsburg University in Minneapolis, MN.
