Energy Management Collaborative Named on the 2016 Inc. 5000 List of Fastest Growing Companies

Energy Management Collaborative (EMC) today announced that Inc. Magazine has named it to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing private companies for a second consecutive year. The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment— its independent small businesses.
EMC’s 92% growth over the last three years put the lighting conversion and service solutions provider at 3,471 on the Inc. 5000. The company is one of 93 companies on the list with headquarters in Minnesota and one of 48 companies recognized from the energy industry.

The 2016 Inc. 5000 is the most competitive crop in the list’s history. The average company on the list achieved a mind-boggling three-year growth of 433%. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue is $200 billion, and the companies on the list collectively generated 640,000 jobs over the past three years, or about 8% of all jobs created in the entire economy during that period.
